Coupons & Referrals

BillingByScott supports two kinds of codes that affect what a customer pays.

Coupons

A coupon is a discount you can apply to a subscription — useful for promotions, launch offers, or one-off deals. Define the coupon in the catalog and it can be applied when a customer subscribes.

Referral codes

A referral code ties a signup back to a source — for example a partner, an affiliate, or a "refer a friend" program. They let you attribute new client accounts to where they came from, and can be tied into your incentives.

Both are managed alongside the rest of your pricing catalog.
